    How to Achieve The Perfect Red Lip


    There are very few things that can compete with a red lipstick applied correctly. It just has that ‘wow’ factor as well as the power to command attention. After lots of trial and error I finally learned how to apply red lipstick expertly and I created a 5-minute video (see below) showing you how to achieve the perfect red lip. Once you master the steps you can apply them to any lipstick colour with guaranteed success.     1. Moisturise your lips with lip balm and blot with a tissue to remove any excess moisture.
    2. Apply a small amount of foundation to your lips to create a perfect canvas.
    3. Line the perimeter of your lips with a red lip pencil (or a colour that matches your lipstick) and completely fill them in. This gives the lipstick something to stick to and it also means that if your lipstick wears off you’ll still have some colour on your lips.
    4. Apply your lipstick all over your lips (you can use a lip brush if you prefer).
    5. Use a concealer brush and a small amount of foundation to tidy up your lip line (this will cover any errors and perfect your lip line).
